We hear also, that the Gentlemen of the Linen-board have determined to settle the Manufacturers of Cambrick, who lately came from Abroad, at Dundalk, a Town belonging to the Right Hon. the Lord Limerick: The Choice of which Place is universally approved, as there is no Reason to doubt, but that all Arts and Manufactures will flourish under the Protection and Government of a Nobleman, who is so remarkable for his public Spirit and Generosity.
We doubt not but that it will give our Readers, and every Lover of his Country, a particular Pleasure that we can assure them, that by the great Care and regular Attendance of the Trustees of the Linen Manufacture, and by their close Inspection into, and severe Punishment of the Frauds and Abuses committed by the Lappers, that Irish Linen has gain'd such Credit, that the London Merchants buy it with the same Confidence and Security as they do the stamp'd Goods of Holland, or any other Country.
