Lest We Forget

By James C. Atchley,

Pres. Local 770

As all of the patrolmen are well aware, it has been a real battle to obtain the benefits that we have derived from organization. Only the most persistent of efforts and the utmost of patience have made our Local such an important factor in the protection of our hours wages, and working conditions.

We must remember the work that has been done, and the ends that have been accomplished. We dare not slacken our efforts to make our Union 100 per cent and to protect that which we have won.

There are no hours, there are no wages, there are no working conditions that cannot be improved. It is the job of every patrolman to do his part in building for the future!
