Full Text

Mr. Joe Weinberg, the proprietor of The Leader, returned home last Wednesday with a tale of bargains concerning the large stock of swell clothing and gents' furnishings that he had purchased, which, he said would take him a week to tell us. For two hours he held us a captive to his siren song of gents' apparel, and had not the little boy who carries notices for the Southern Railway come in and informed him that there was eleven car loads of freight which had just been received by the road a sign the notices, no doubt he would have been there for two hours more—for he was determined to tell some one, his victim. However, we are led to believe for The Leader's banker that the whole of the eleven cars was loaded for The Leader store alone, but he modestly got a full slip, The Leader in direct A.D. 18.
