TILLMAN TALKS POLITICS

At the Albia, Iowa, Celebration and Republicans are Mad.

Albia, Ia., July 5.—Two thousand people assembled in front of the court house Saturday afternoon and listened to Senator Tillman of South Carolina. Tillman had been secured as the speaker for the celebration of the Fourth, but his speech was a political talk from beginning to end. He scored the Republican party and the trusts and corporations in his usual vehement style. He was met at the train by a delegation of political clubs and marchers and a couple of brass bands, and from that time on his visit was made a political one. There is much ill-feeling among the Republicans who contributed to the fund to secure Tillman to speak.
