Full Text

It is reported that the other day, and not before, as has been generally believed, a certain marriage was declared to a great personage; and the reason alleged for it is that the person being on the point of going abroad thought proper to make the discovery, lest if any accident should happen to him while in a foreign country the affair, as it has hitherto been kept a secret, might, through its mysterious aspect, when it came to be revealed, not gain that credit with the world which it deserves, and which he is willing it should. It is likewise said the revelation of the above mysterious affair was favourably received by the great personage to whom it was made, and though he remonstrated a little regarding the impropriety of the act yet he greatly approved the motive for the discovery, and promised not to abate of his favour and affection to the communicant.
