Herewith we present a picture of the handsome new Grand View Hospital recently opened to the public at Ortonville by Drs. Karn & Bolsta, the well known and highly successful firm of physicians. The hospital has been erected and equipped by Messrs. Karn & Bolsta at an expense of over $14,000 and is a model hospital, finely appointed and best of all is under the supervision of the owners, who enjoy the distinction of two full stories and basement with ample space on the third floor for several elegant rooms should occasion arise for increasing the capacity. The Corinthian style of architecture is employed and brick with Ortonville red granite for basement and trimmings is the material used in the structure. The rooms throughout are light and airy and are all equipped with electric light, hot water heat and a system of ventilation that is the best that modern science has devised. The building is conveniently supplied with hot and cold water, a complete system of sewerage and a splendidly equipped bath and toilet rooms. The operating room on the second floor is a model of neatness, with its many windows, large skylight, white enameled walls, parti-colored tiled floors, and convenient closets and cabinets. The kitchen and dining room, laundry, store, store room, refrigerator and heating plant are conveniently arranged in the basement.
