ORCHARD BLOSSOMS
THRILL L. H. METZGAR
"It's orchard-blossom time in the San Jose Valley," said L. H. Metzgar, General Superintendent of the Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Company, on his return here yesterday from a month's trip to Pacific Coast states. "Apricots, cherries and other soft fruit trees are in bloom. The region never looked more beautiful to me.
"I was in Seattle and San Francisco. The trip so far as it concerned me was in connection with business matters entirely. Mrs. Metzgar who accompanied me, took the journey for pleasure."
