INDUSTRIAL CONDITIONS ARE EXCELLENT THERE.

Sterling, Conn., Nov. 30.—Industrial conditions in this section of Connecticut are said by well informed business men to be excellent at present, with every indication of a satisfactory winter for those employed in the manufacturing establishments. The mill of the United States Finishing Co. is running night and day, the Cranska Thread mills at Moosup are doing the same, and the Aldrich Cotton mills are running full time with orders ahead.

In nearly every instance the mills in this section which have been on short time during a part of the last twelve months are now on full time with a complement of help. For the first time in some years is it stated that there is not an idle spindle in Windham county. There was no cut down in wages at the time of the cut at Fall River about twenty weeks ago and none is anticipated. The cotton mills have a good supply of cotton on hand and have bought for the future at a fair figure.
