The regular monthly meeting was held on Thursday evening in their Hall.
A good number of members were in attendance. The discussion on extending further aid to the Chinese mission was again postponed, and the instructions to the building committee in regard to the unfinished room were deferred. It was announced that Captain Bray would leave for the coast next week probably by the Falkinburg and thus there would be a vacancy in the position of General Secretary. The number of visitors for the past month to the building has been 1,290. Some 7 new members joined.
The estimated expenditure for the forthcoming twelvemonth will cause a deficit of $1,500 which must be met.
