From Venice, That the Navigation of the Republick is much impeded by the Turkish Vessels, since the breaking out of the War between the Emperor and the Porte: That Complaints have been made to the Turkish Governors on the Adriatick, but without obtaining any Satisfaction.

Advice is arrived from Dalmatia, that the publick Courier of the Baile of Venice at Constantinople, has been attacked on the Road by unknown Turks, and assassinated, and all his Dispatches carried off. The Porte is suspected of having done this, in order to keep the Affairs of the Ottoman Empire secret: since which it has been resolved the Couriers of the Republick shall change their Rout.

These Circumstances may probably provoke the State to declare War against the Turks.
