REPRESSURING OPERATION IS HELD SUCCESS

Storing of surplus gas from Turner Valley in the depleted Bow Island field sands has proven an outstanding success.

Since repressuring first commenced last July more than 1,100,000,000 cubic feet of gas have been forced into the sands and repressuring is still continuing at the rate of 5,000,000 cubic feet daily.

Practically all the waste gas being stored comes from the Royalite and Dalhousie wells in Turner Valley.

If steps were not taken to store this gas, it would be burned.
