Full Text

Cincinnati, March 23.

We were informed by a gentleman on Friday last, that col. Burr, a few days since, crossed at the mouth of Kentucky, direct from Frankfort, on his way to Vincennes. The ferryman when first requested to take him across refused until he had taken over a family who had been waiting for some time. Burr then offered him a dollar, and observed, if that would not do he would give him two. After he had been taken over he gave the ferryman fifty dollars not to ply again that day, and it is said he did not. Our informant says he received his information from a captain Sebre, who is said to be a man of the strictest veracity.
