FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS.
Chief Knepp and Assistant Engleby Re-elected—McFalls the Other Assistant.
The fire board held a meeting last night for the purpose of electing a chief of the fire department and two assistants. There were two candidates for the position of chief, Mr. Knepp, the present incumbent, and Mr. Jos. T. Engleby. Of the eleven ballots cast Mr. Knepp received six and Mr. Engleby five. Mr. Engleby was then elected first assistant chief and Mr. Jas. McFalls, of the Juniors, second assistant chief.
