We are assured that their High Mightinesses the States of Holland sent last Week an Express to his Excellency M. Vandermeer, their Ambassador at the Court of Madrid, with Orders to acquaint Don Sebastian de la Quadra, that in case his Catholic Majesty would not give a peremptory Answer, and release the Dutch Ships lately taken by the Spanish Guarda Costa's in America, they were resolved to send a Squadron to the West-Indies, and take their own Satisfaction, since it can't be proved that any of the Dutch Ships had Contraband Goods on board: The Squadron is to be composed of Six Men of War and Four Frigates, to be commanded by Admiral Schryver.
