Probe Of Klan Revival Urged

WASHINGTON - (ANP)- The house unAmerican activities committee was asked Friday to investigate reports of the revival of the Ku Klux Klan by Rep. D'Alesandre a Maryland Democrat.

"We have too many important and overwhelming problems in the coming peace era without having to wrestle with insidious and slippery forces whose aim is to carry citizen against citizen." D'Alesandre said in a letter to committee chairman Wood (Dem. Ga.)

"For this reason, may I respectfully suggest that your committee proceed to initiate an investigation into the activities of this infamous group."
