Evening School
According to Principal Milton J. White, four new courses will be offered, when the second semester gets underway, at the Booker T. Washington High Evening School, Monday evening.
Miss Sara Perry, head of the Commercial Department will instruct a Beginners Class in Shorthand, Typing and Business English; Mrs. Delia Thomas will offer an eight-week course in First Aid, and a certificate will be awarded those completing both the Standard and Advance First Aid Training.
Mrs. A. M. Craddock will teach a course in baking fancy pies and cakes, all materials being furnished by the school; and Mrs. Thomas will open a small class in Crocheting, specializing in bedspreads, scarfs, and art pieces.
Atlantans are urged to take advantage of these classes, all of which are free of charge and are sponsored by the Atlanta Board of Education.
