NRA Will Effect Clubs
As our President's National Recovery Act swings into full stride, so is increased club activity virtually assured for this fall. With the prospect of more idle hours facing a large number of our group, who as employees found that their jobs demanded such a majority of their time that to be a club member was a futile thought indeed, club memberships will swell, and intensive programs may be carried out. As club and social activity is of vital benefit to any community, this particular field of racial endeavor should be smiled upon by everyone.
Those of you who find more leisure hours, and are not a member of some constructive club, wait no longer. Look around and find some club that you like or to which your friends belong. Join them and loose some of your pent up energy in a decent and very entertaining manner. There are clubs of various natures. Some featuring general entertainment, art, and bridge. The bridge clubs constituting a decided majority. ON WITH THE NRA.
