Census of Vermont.
Great praise is awarded, by the Department of the Interior at Washington, to the Marshals of Rhode Island and Vermont "for the judgment and discrimination exercised in the selection of their assistants, and for the manner in which they have executed the trust confided to them." Last week we gave the population, deaths for one year, and the number of farms. The number of dwellings in Vermont, June 1, 1850, was 56,592; number of industrial establishments producing annually over $500, 1764.
