Full Text

Election Returns. We give a running account of the election returns as they come to hand. We cannot vouch for their correctness: much less is it possible to class them, as some do, the supporters or opponents of the general administration. The fact is, the line has not been drawn in reference to that question, in but a few counties of the state. When the time comes to decide that question, those who live to see it will witness a far different result from that which is now so loudly claimed by the partizans of General Jackson.

Albany Gazette.

New York Election. Returns have been received from all the counties, and the following is stated by the New York Advocate to be the result, as accurately as can possibly be ascertained—

Adams, 64
Jackson, 45
Doubtful.
