Dinner to Mr. Nelson.--A public dinner was given, by the citizens of Frederick, on Saturday last, to John Nelson, Esq. late Charge d'Affaires at Naples. The entertainment, as we learn from the Examiner, was very elegant and sumptuous, and was served up by Mr. Thomas in a style that does his establishment the highest credit. Wm. W. Potts, Esq. presided, assisted by Frederick A. Bellinger, Esq. and Dr. Wm. Tyler. The hilarity of the evening was not marred by a single disagreeable circumstance and the Company retired at an early hour.--Baltimore Patriot.
