The remainder of the officers including the militia appointments, were referred to the june session.

The House were occupied the whole of Saturday last, on the subject of the remonstrance against the election in Little-Compton. It was introduced by one Taylor, of that town, who is remarkable for his contentious and factious disposition. This same political hot-head has frequently troubled the House with his ridiculous and groundless remonstrances- and we believe has always experienced a similar defeat. Notwithstanding the quibbling of the twigs of law, the House decided that the sitting Members should retain their seats.
