Full Text
We caution the army of candidates to beware of the candidate who tells them, "well sir, wherever I have been they tell me that you and I are sure of election." This trick is being worked in order to get the support of the candidates, but if a candidate who is thus patted on the back will make a proper investigation he will find that all of his opponents have been fed by the same man with the same lump of sugar. Another slimy trick is to ascertain who a voter favors for some other office, and the slick candidate will say to him "I and you are right together and I am doing all I can for him." Just watch for this sort of thing and you will catch on to the hypocrisy easy.
