Tampa Topics.

Tampa, Fla., Dec. 16.—There was a frost Thursday morning. Tampa Bay hotel is still "booming." Workmen have reached the third story. Iron has arrived for the bridge across Hillsborough river, but the workmen have not showed up yet. Not a case of yellow fever has been reported in Tampa in three weeks. The city is perfectly healthy. The new engine for the street railway has arrived and will be put in service at once. Orange dealers are shipping several hundred boxes per day. The steamer Lizzie Henderson arrived from Mobile Sunday laden with passengers and freight for Tampa. She makes regular trips between this port and Mobile. T. C. Taliaferro, cashier of the First National Bank of Tampa, is again at his post. The bank has resumed old office hours. Tampa's prospects are bright for a busy winter.
