Plenty to Defend, Few to Prosecute.

UNIONTOWN, Pa., Sept. 4.

It has been difficult to obtain counsel to assist Prosecuting Attorney Young in the trial of young Nutt, who shot Dukes, after the latter had killed his (Nutt's) father, and written a letter announcing that he had debauched the sister and daughter. David Patterson, of Pittsburgh, appears in the case, and Assistant District Attorney Johnson. The trial begins September 6. Many gratuitous offers of counsel for the defendant have been made, but it is not yet known who will appear in the case.
