Full Text

For the Southern Christian Advocate.

Dear Sir,—This will inform you, that the last evening closed a two days' meeting of considerable interest in the town of Perlington, in the circuit of the same name. Good order and decorum characterized the services throughout, and all eyes and ears seemed to hang with interest upon the lips of the preacher, and the word preached. There can be no reasonable doubt but that good was done, but to what extent, eternity alone can reveal,

E. N. TALLEY.

Perlington, Miss., July 27, 1840.
