Event Details
Considerable complaint is made of the rowdyism of certain parties who visit the brewery near Wooddale, almost every Sunday. The loud talking, swearing and blustering have disgusted the neighbors and an appeal to the law is threatened. It is said that persons not only visit this point from this city, but from Pennsylvania, and last evening a drunken party in returning home in a two-horse wagon, ran into the fence near the snuff mills. Whether the beer is sold on Sunday or given away, or liquor supplied from flasks, are questions that can only be determined by investigation.
