The returns of the election for Presidential Electors in this county have not come to hand. At this place, the vote was as follows:

Whig majority, one hundred and one. But little exertion was made by either party in this election, here, the Democrats being certain of a large majority in the State, and the opposition not caring to work hard without the prospect of success.
