MURDER.—Izzy Roberts, a farmer living eight miles back of Camden, was murdered on Saturday night while in his wagon returning home from the Philadelphia market. The murder occurred near Cooper's Creek Bridge, and was committed by a young man 18 or 20 years of age. He was shot in the back of the head, and his skull was fractured with some blunt instrument. The murderer escaped over to the city in the ferry boat The pockets of the murdered man were rifled of all the money he had received at the market, about $10. The murderer drove the wagon some distance containing the body of his victim. $500 reward is offered for the detection of the murderer.—Tribune.
