Harris, Walden Cases Slated Here Tomorrow

The Fulton Superior Court will air two cases which challenge the right of the City Executive committee to exclude itself from the May 13 City primary.

The hearings are scheduled at 9:45 a. m. Attorney A. T. Walden and Dr. Miles Amos have filed one suit against the committee and Roderick (Rod) B. Harris has filed another.

All are potential candidates from the Third Ward. A third suit, filed by prospective white candidates, has been tentatively scheduled for a hearing on April 13.

The City Committee decided not to participate in the election soon after Negro candidates announced they would enter the race. Members of the committee have denied that the action was aimed at Negroes.
