The last Maryland Paper contains an Account of the Proceedings of another of their Committees of Inspection in the District under their Care, by which it appears, that they, as well as all the other Committees of Inspection in that Province are extremely careful & exact in examining the Invoices of all the Goods that arrive; & that every Article, however small, imported contrary to the Non-Importation Agreement, is immediately stored and sent home for England by the next Opportunity. The Committee for Pig Point District in Arundel County, Report the Examination of 10 Cargoes of Goods lately imported. viz. 3 from Mr. John Buchanan, Merchant in London. two from Perkins, Buchanan and Brown. 1 from Mr. William Mol- lison. 1 from Mr. Thomas Philpot. and 1 from Mr. James Russel. in all of which were Articles not allowed by the Agreement, which are to be sent back: another Cargo from the Said Russel and 1 from Messrs. West and Hodgson, had not an Article contrary to Agreement.
