PROSPECT CENTRE.

Farmers are all done farming in this vicinity, and working on the road is the next in order.

Mrs. S. M. Knowlton has been having her house painted and making other improvements. Mr. L. M. Ames did the work.

Mr. and Mrs. Ney Killman of Ellsworth and Mrs. Hulbert Grant of Kingman are visiting their parents, Capt. and Mrs. Robert Killman.

Manley Knowlton has peas in blossom and thinks he will have green peas by the Fourth.

Mr. Otis Hamlin of South Brooks is visiting his daughter, Mrs. Leslie Hawes.

Mr. Hosea Littlefield is painting his house, which improves its looks very much.

They have started work at Mt. Waldo wharf with one hundred cutters, but there is no work at Mosquito mountain as yet.

Leslie Hawes has been repairing his stable and shingling his carriage house.
