Sunday School was opened at 9:45 a.m. with the superintendent, Bro. Grady Mann, presiding. The entire school seemed to be benefited by the teachings and remarks of those in charge.
At 11:00 o'clock the devotion period was led by Deacon J. W. Johnson and Grady Mann, followed by a soul-stirring message delivered masterfully by our beloved pastor, Rev. Thomas. His subject was "Hosanna." and the sermon was enjoyed by the entire assembly.
The BTU hour was opened at 5:30 p.m. with the president, as usual, presiding. There was another great sermon preached on Sunday evening. This message was delivered by Rev. Pickett. The spirit out of the souls of many was very high as he spoke from his text: For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation.
Come out and worship with us at any time. We are always happy to receive visitors and friends. And remember, you are always welcome at Mt. Calvary.
Rev. E. M. Thomas, pastor
