C. A. Wall, A. J. Gummersheimer, S. W. Baxter, E. W. Cannady, O. F. Kresse Jr. and Miss C. E. Sprecher, East St. Louisans, Invited to Second Annual Event

Jacksonville, Ill., Nov. 1.—Nearly a thousand alumni and former students of Illinois College living in Illinois and in nearby points in neighboring states have been invited to return to "Old Illinois" on Friday, November 5, for the second annual home-coming.

The list of those invited includes C. A. Wall, A. J. Gummersheimer, S. W. Baxter, E. W. Cannady, O. F. Kresse Jr., and Miss C. E. Sprecher of East St. Louis.

The home-coming is a movable event fixed on the date of the leading game of the football season. Last year this was the Thanksgiving game against Williams & Vashti of Aledo. This year it is with Millikin University of Decatur.

Play Millikin for Conference Title.

The game this year is looked on as the premier event of the Illinois minor college conference season, deciding as it will the championship of the "Little Sixteen."

Both Millikin and Illinois remain undefeated throughout the schedule played. If Illinois wins from Millikin she will be readily accorded the title honors, having defeated Lombard, Normal, Wesleyan and Shurtleff.

The rest of her playing schedule includes only light games with Lincoln and Carthage.

If Millikin wins, she still must win from Wesleyan.

The Illinois scores to date follow:
October 9—Illinois 14, Lombard 7;
October 17—Illinois 27, Normal 0;
October 24—Illinois 40, Shurtleff 6;
October 29—Illinois 21, Wesleyan 3.

The Millikin scores follow: October 2—Millikin 19, St. Louis University 9;
October 9—Millikin 7, Normal 0;
October 17—Millikin 60, Shurtleff 0;
October 24—Millikin 13, Lombard 13.

Last year at Decatur Millikin defeated Illinois 19 to 6. Coach Harmon of Illinois believes his team stronger and Millikin weaker in comparison to last year's teams.

Concert and Dance Planned.

Besides the football game, attractions for the alumni will be a popular concert given by the College Conservatory of Music in the evening; this will be followed by a college dance in the gymnasium, at which those alumni and former students who care to attend will be guests of honor.
