Full Text

"Treason has done its worst" at last! The locofocos of New Hampshire have passed the following resolution:

Resolved, That we tender our sympathy to the friends and relatives of the brave men who, since the commencement of the war, have fallen in defence of their country.

If Mr. Polk does not say "a plague upon such backing," we are mistaken. We hope to hear no more about the Mexican sympathies of the Whigs after this. Will the Governor of New Hampshire transmit a copy of this resolution to Santa Anna, to be communicated by him to the Mexican army?—Lowell Courier.
