As the zero hour nears, the proud class of '62 is now officially sporting the title "Big Time Seniors."
On Friday the seniors were honored with the Junior-Senior Prom by the juniors who made it an enjoyable affair for all. It was held at the Sky Room, City Auditorium.
An after party was the most. Sunday, Principal Richardson officially invested 133 seniors with the rights and responsibilities of seniorhood.
On Tuesday those of us who were non voters went to the court house to become full citizens.
Our hats are off to Charles Thompson for 2nd place in the low hurdles at the State Track Meet.
Bertha Daniels, 2nd place (hurdles) Ida Redmond, 3rd place Shot Put, and James McCoy, 1st place in the mile run!
The Archer Eagles have chalked up another baseball victory over Carver to the score of 13-5 with Sylvester Nelloms as winning pitcher. Nice going, fellows.
Students and faculty members have been quite busy this past week carrying on good public relations.
Curtis Anderson, Gwenda Wyatt, Dorothy Riggins, and Theodore Hall accompanied Mrs. N. H. Williams to a national seminar sponsored by the Armed Forces. Here information was given on the social and political problems of Europe.
A team of students accompanied one of the science instructors to the Agnes Scott Astronomical Observatory to a lecture on the Solar System
