Full Text

Sea Monster. - The Boston Eagle mentions a sea monster seen there a few days since, fifteen feet long, and covered with a spotted coat of hair. He was in very shallow water, near the shore, and seemed to rest on the bottom, with his head elevated two or three feet above the surface. The head and neck appeared like a lion's or a bull's, without horns. He moved his head rapidly from side to side, as he regarded the spectators on different sides of him. His tail was the only part that resembled a fish. He made a great commotion in the water, and it is supposed he floated into that latitude, from the north, on an iceberg.
