NEW DELHI (INS) - A 10 day conference of the moral rearmament movement was opened in New Delhi Friday with 403 delegates present from all over the world.

One of the main addresses at today's session was given by Madame Taguchi Togano, a member of the Japanese diet (Parliament) who is attending the conference as an official representative of the Japanese Socialist Party.

Madame Togano extolled the work of moral rearmament in Asia and told the conference that "Japan can only expiate her past crimes by building a new nation on higher moral standard."
