Civilian Worker Backs Attack

Into the spotlight of women behind the men behind the guns, steps Mrs. Hattie Hall, Civil Service employee of the Quartermaster Department at the Tuskegee Army Air Field, who is contributing over 62 per cent of her salary in the purchase of War Bonds.

With two men in the Service, Mrs. Hall knows what the buying of War Bonds really means. Her husband, Captain James L. Hall, is a Quartermaster officer here. A brother is stationed in Texas. Another brother has been honorably discharged after being wounded overseas.

2nd Lieutenant Frank Eason, Post War Bond officer, is shown handing over to the patriotic Mrs. Hall two $100 Bonds to add to her growing collection. (Official AAF Photo by AAF Training Command.)
