BOSTON, July 1.

A vessel arrived here last evening from Carolina, having on board ten seamen, the residue of the crews of two vessels from Guadaloupe, belonging, and bound to Salem and Newburyport, who were put on board, yesterday, in the bay, by the Sir Charles Gray, privateer, of Bermuda, which had taken the above vessels on Friday and Saturday last, the Race Point of Cape Cod bearing N. N. E. six leagues. The names of the masters are Bark and Goodhue, and with the boys were sent in the prizes to Bermuda. The commander of the Sir Charles Grey said, that the French islands were declared to be in a state of Blockade, and that he was cruising for vessels to and from them.

A vessel from Carolina arrived in Boston last evening carrying ten seamen, remnants of crews from two Guadaloupe-bound vessels owned and destined for Salem and Newburyport. The seamen were transferred yesterday in the bay by the Bermuda privateer Sir Charles Gray, which captured the vessels on the previous Friday and Saturday near Race Point of Cape Cod. The privateer's commander stated the French islands were blockaded and he was patrolling for related shipping.
