Farmers Attend Clinic on Machine Repairing

PITTSFIELD—UP—A "clinic" for reconditioning broken and old farm machinery has been established by the Pine Township school in the Haefner Farm Machinery Warehouse, near Wexford. Pa.

Because the manufacture and sale of new farm machinery has been restricted sharply by the War Production Board, 25 farmers are prolonging the life and utility of existing equipment on farms in eight nearby townships.

Ranging in age from 17 to 70, the "Internes" are learning their skill under the instruction of a machinery expert from the U. S. Office of Education.
