Full Text
Some Newspaper writers, who indiscriminately praise the measures of government, for solid reasons, no doubt, treat writers in opposition to the sentiments they profess, and all those who venture in any degree to find fault, or in any particular wish a reform, as enemies of all government, and as aiming at the subversion of this. Such misses of this kind, were they within the bounds of credibility, might have more effect than much argument; but as they are now brought forward, savor too much of improbability to obtain belief, and are flimsy substitutes indeed.
