WASHINGTON, Ga. - In an effort to offset the exodus of farm labor to the industrial centers to back up the full farm program of the Georgia association, Wilkes county in well organized and supported plan is offering to high-class, skilled farmers of the middle west some twenty-thousand acres of her improved farm lands for approximately three quarters of a million dollars.
The listings which are now being handled from Cleveland, Ohio, range in acreage from 13 to 1,350 acres and in value from $1,300 to $72,565, scattered throughout the county, held under option for four months and sales will be promoted and regulated at this end of the line by the Washington Kiwanis Club under the golden rule.
