SIXTEEN MOVE AHEAD IN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

Outstanding Favorites Include Nine American Women Players

TORONTO. Sept. 30.—Nine United States players, two English and five Canadians, moved to the second round of the Canadian Women's Golf Championship.

All are outstanding favorites including the defending champion, Maureen Orcutt, of Englewood, New Jersey.

The players disposed of their opponents with ease.

With Maureen Orcutt was Mrs. O. S. Hill, Marion Hollins, former American champion; Virginia Van Wie, Ada McKenzie, of Toronto; Mrs. W. G. Fraser, Enid Wilson and Marjorie Kerr.
