At a meeting of the Freeholders and other Inhabitants of the City of Williamsburg, Virginia, at the Court House of the said City, the 6th day of October, 1787,

Resolved, that it is the opinion of this Meeting, that a Convention ought to be appointed for the purpose of deliberating on the measures, recommended by the Honorable Convention, lately held at Philadelphia; and, that the said Convention ought also to be empowered to revise and amend the Constitution of this Commonwealth.

Ordered, that the foregoing be published in the Virginia Gazette.
