The new Landgrave of Hesse Cassel, some months ago, at the King of Prussia's request, signed an instrument, whereby he engaged in case of the death of the Landgrave his father, to fulfil literally all the stipulations in the treaties subsisting between the said Landgrave and the King of Great Britain.
The Landgrave of Hesse has wrote a very complaisant letter to the King of Great Britain, imploring his Majesty's protection of his country, assuring him of his adhering to all the engagements his father had entered into for the good of the common cause, and that he would endeavour to furnish a further supply of men. -- As will likewise another Protestant Prince in Germany: so that much may be expected from the next Campaign.
