SACKETT'S HARBOR.

By a letter of a late date from Sackett's Harbor, we learn that 1900 regulars, 2000 militia, 100 pieces of cannon, and 2 block houses, are now stationed at that place for its defence. The enemy's force in the neighborhood on the opposite side consists of 6000 regulars and militia. There can be no doubt of the capacity of the American force to protect that important naval & military post against any army that can be sent against it. It is in no danger--and our lake fleet is safe.
