A citizens' committee composed of representatives of leading local organizations met on Saturday to map plans for a campaign, the purpose of which is to have the proposed 300-unit public housing project built at Altona. The committee expects to confer with Gov. Gordon, members of the Housing Authority and other officials with a view of dissuading them from selecting Sugar Estate as the site of the project.
