PARIS, August 9.

JULIA CALYON.

Woman of Bayeux, a friend of CHARLOTTE CORDE, is eager to follow her footsteps, and to deserve the same fate. The following letter from her, addressed to the female citizen Tison, at the hotel of the post Amiens, dated July 26, furnishes an ample proof of her resolution.

"My dear Tison, the courageous Cordé, whom you know, and whose friendship honours me, has just inflicted death on the ruffian MARAT. This heroic action elevates my soul, and gives me courage. I shall set out this day to join you; we will go together to Paris. My intention is to imitate my worthy friend, by stabbing the villain CHABOT, who invented, I am told, a new punishment for that modern Judith. As the men of this age are so dastardly, a sex which has always been thought weak, ought to arm, and rid the land of liberty, of banditti and anarchists, who desolate it. Waiting the pleasure of seeing thee, I embrace thee."

(Signed)
"JULIA CALYON."
