BANDITS LOOT COAST BANK

LOS ANGELES, July 25. (U.P.)

The Citizens National Trust and Savings branch bank at 3224 Glendale boulevard today was looted of approximately $10,000 by two bandits, police reported.

The gunmen, it was said, apparently got into the bank during the night with the aid of a passkey.

As employees arrived this morning they were bound and imprisoned by the pair.

When E. V. Zingrang, manager, came to work he was told to open the vault or "we'll kill you and a couple of others."

After Zingrang opened the vault he, too, was bound, the fourth member of the bank staff to be so treated. A fifth employee, H. R. Loy, teller, came in as the bandits were departing. They locked Loy in a rear room, from which he escaped to free the others from their ties.

Police said they learned the license number of the automobile in which the bandits fled.
