Cpl. Farnsworth Hancock, past esquire of P.S.L. Elks No. 109, overseas, somewhere in the heart of Germany, has a variety of assignments, principally on the firing line.
Two of his assistants, Negro soldiers, are serving in every capacity as white soldiers serve, and doing a splendid job. For this they should be given credit when firing ceases.
Cpl. Farnsworth is the happy father of two boys, both of whom he has dedicated to the army of freedom. One of these, junior, he has never seen. He is now looking forward to the day when he can answer to "daddy."
Farnsworth spends his idle time in writing. He likes to hear from home and from Elks also. His address is:
